Until I used a Pulse I thought the Tufo 215 would be my permanent choice for gran fondos in Italy.
One ride on the Pulse gave me pause for thought as I was even more confident descending without any loss of straight line speed. On reflection after a fairly descent season I am going to use a Pulse for all events in 2011 despite the increased cost. I still carry an Elite Jet as a spare being just 160 grams + the weight of a (fitted) gluing tape.
